A luscious and texturized mix of sophisticated botanicals embellished the softly draped ceremony site for this intimate wedding at the couple’s private home. A 40-foot railing framing the patio became a part of the breathtaking scene leading up to the infinity pool, decorated with lavish foliage with a great depth in color. The floral palette consisted of deep burgundy dahlias, intermixed with white accents and greenery, which beautifully played with hints of pink in the peonies and garden roses.
The bride’s background in interior design aided in the construction of the linens, as she worked one-on-one with Wildflower Linen founder, Youngsong Martin, to create the delicate lace overlay onto a romantic blush chiffon fabric. Accents of gold tipped the china, chargers, stemware, flatware, and decorated the napkin holders adding a golden-hue to the refined and precisely perfect tablescape that carried into the design of the Persian Sofreh.
The bride’s bouquet was non-traditional, asymmetrical, and avant-garde - a gorgeous balance between femininity, luxury, and fashion-forward style. The importance of texture created a loose but pristine blend of calla lilies, star of Bethlehem, scabiosa, begonia foliage, and dahlias, cascading into a lush botanical arrangement.
